On Saturday March, 4th, the residence “Les Claustras du Coteau” in Cergy was inaugurated in front of Emmanuelle Cosse - Minister of Housing and sustainable habitat - Jean-Yves Latournerie - the Val d’Oise Prefet – Jean-Paul Jeandon – the Mayor of Cergy – and Gérard Seigné the Logement Francilien’s chairman of the board. This residence consists in 104 energy passive social habitats.
This new generation residence’s renovation provides a solution regarding energy efficiency to allow its inhabitants to control their energy consumption.
The project BienVEnu’s team represented by Enedis and Clem’ was part of this event, with the participation of Sylvie Courty, Enedis’ West Ile de France Regional Director. Indeed, BienVEnu was set up within the residence during autumn 2016 with 7 electric vehicle charging stations and two Zoé for car sharing. As a result of the information session about the car sharing service in February, several residents have subscribed to the service.
BienVEnu’s concept particularly interested the Minister who highlighted the project’s innovative and precursor aspects. The Prefet underlined car sharing and car pooling’s advantages as well as smart charging. As for the Mayor of Cergy, he expressed his happiness that his city is one of BienVEnu’s pilots. He is already considering setting up BienVEnu in other sites in the city. Eventually, Gérard Seigné - the Logement Francilien’s chairman of the board – said he is proud to be able to offer its residents a home car sharing service at a cheap price: “4 euros per month to subscribe to the service and 4 euros per hour to use the Zoé!”
We bet we will soon open the second BienVEnu site in Cergy!
